Rilassare. To relax.

Well, for those of you that were waiting to see if I could top yesterday's adventures and pictures today, I'm afraid to tell you I could not.
After the past week and yesterday especially, I needed a day to sleep, relax, and do homework.
I slept in today until 11am at which point I had a small breakfast ( I was still VERY full from last night) and then I wrote out my schedule of homework and readings for the upcoming week. After I got everything squared away I started on my readings for my Literature class that meets on Mondays. I had my first two readings to do, the first while informative, wasn't very exciting. The second book however (A Room with a View) is a pretty good read and has a mixture of descriptions of Florence as well as an interesting plot to follow. I'm sure that the readings for the rest of the class will be much better as things progress. Especially when the books follow real life events from recent years.
My mother made me pasta for lunch around 2 and informed me to help myself to whatever I would like for dinner (as they would be going out with a friend). As a part of my homestay set up we are supposed to get one meal on Friday Saturday and Sunday. However, my mother is wonderful and usually provides lunch or dinner if I'm home and would like something to eat on those days. Today because I stayed in (in my pajamas) all day she offered lunch. This afternoon I read and cuddled with my cat, Stella. Around 7:45 I made a light little snack for my dinner because I wasn't that hungry. I cut myself some asiago cheese, a delicious golden apple and some bread. It was the perfect little meal and I was quite full afterwards.
Seeing that my legs and feet were quite sore from all the uphill walking yesterday I decided to soak them in some hot water in the tub. Afterwards I opened up the bathroom window to let the bathroom cool down and WOW! The evening Tuscan air is incredible! It was cool, fresh, and had just a hint of a campfire smell. It made me want to curl up and crawl right into bed.

Although today was not too exciting or entertaining for you all to read about, I feel refreshed and rested up for another exciting week of adventures in Florence!! I can't wait to see what this week has in store!

Tanto piu un sogno e` impossibile, tanto piu realizzarlo ti rendera` felice.
The more impossible a dream is, the more realizing it will make you happy.
