Fine settimana. The weekend.

Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting yesterday again. Honestly my blog would've been about 5 lines. I didn't leave the house at all yesterday. I got up, showered and got ready for the day, had my breakfast and lunch and spent the day reading an entire book. I felt pretty good that I finished it by the time I went to bed. That took a large chunk of stuff to do off of my homework list for this week, so it was worth it. Plus, the book was really good; despite it being about a murder in the neighborhood where my school is. The book is fiction, which is a good thing, but it was still very interesting to be reading about  a mystery that took place in areas that I know really well. I am reading another book by the same author for a different class this week. I've read half of that book today. This one is about a kidnapping that takes place in the neighborhood. For any of you that are interested, the author is Magdalene Naab.

So today I did some more reading, and then wrote a paper talking about the different types of changes that people undergo when they travel to Italy. We had to analyze and use some of the books that we've read as well as use some of our own experiences.

Yesterday for lunch we had penne in a red sauce. Then we had cheese! I LOVE CHEESE! (Which most people know, and often joke and ask if I'd like some pasta with my cheese.) Well I had one of those situations yesterday. I mother brought out 3 blocks of cheese and told me to help myself! So I cut myself some pecorino, some asiago, and some parmigiana. Let me just say, that by the time I was done eating my plate of cheese I was completely stuffed, and wishing that I hadn't cut so much! Either way, I enjoyed every bite.

Today for dinner we had roast beef, that my mother sliced herself using the meat slicer! (I still think its so cool that they have one!) We also had fried potatoes and some bread! Yum yum yum!

For dessert we had some apple cake. I think that the way she makes this is similar to a pineapple upside down cake, because the cake is on the bottom and the apples are on the top. It tastes like a yellow cake, then the apples, and then a little bit of cinnamon and or brown sugar possibly and then powdered sugar. So yummy! Then we had an after dinner shot again, which was a wonderful finish to the meal.
Today Stella was being a little feisty and decided to walk across my computer numerous times, turning my internet on and off, pulling random windows and programs up and wreaking all sorts of havoc. This is a picture of her sending a message to my sister, which she was unable to decifer, being that it was written not only in cat language, but Italian cat language.

Well, that is all for tonight!
